Dr. Perez is clinical faculty at Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine and NOVA Southeastern Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine. 

In addition to teaching medical students, she is also clinical faculty for Palmetto General Hospital neurology residency program.
